Personally I'd love to see Herrera start alongside Pogba and Carrick against Leicester. The work rate and passion that he displays week in, week out is phenomenal. This team needs more of it. The work rate coupled with Carrick's vision, passing range and ability to control a game, along with Pogba's talent would potentially make a great balanced midfield.

Thoughts?

I'm with you on this.

It would keep Rooney out of the side too, ideally, yet I still can't help feel he won't be dropped.

I highly doubt Carrick will start considering he played 90', but yes is definitely our best passer. Wish we had Basti as alternative to do that job in PL :'/

Unfortunately, I think most of this sub will agree with you. The fella, pog, Herrera midfield will be the most likely combination at the weekend. I will however be super pissed if Rooney starts again. Especially after that extremely average performance today

Yeah basically what I want to see against Leicester. The hope is Rooney gets dropped and Zlatan slots into his spot with Rashford up front.

Even Memphis had a pretty solid game. I wouldn't mind seeing. Him given another chance
