1986 Ford Centurion

Up for sale I have my 1986 Ford Centurion. They made a few variants of these, but this sleeper/hauler is exactly what you need to tow anything. It handles like a newer powerstroke under load, plenty of power. It was purchased from a autocross driver in california. I then made a bunch of repairs and used it to move to Montana for a few short months. Plans changed and I have now moved back to my home in New Hampshire. I have a little one on the way so I would be willing to trade for/towards a nice sedan (Volvo, forester, impreza, audi). Below is a list of her pros and cons and photos to highlight the cons. I want you to be confident in this vintage rarity as I have put a bunch of time into her.

Pros:
*Just under 76K miles on the rig, runs excellent!
*Ford 460 Big block, C6 AT, no leaks, new belts (full set of spare belts), New alternator, New battery, Rebuilt carburetor, few new hoses air/coolant
*Full sleeper cab, rear seat lays flat
*Full swivel/recline captains chairs
*CB radio
*Trailer brake hookup
*Under carriage and 1 1/2 ton frame are completely rust free (california desert!)
*Fiberglass bed holds a full sheet of plywood between the wheel wells with the tailgate closed.
* Class 3 hitch with lights and power brake hook-up
*Dual switchable 13 gallon fuel tanks
*Dually rear end with (4) brand new E-rated tires ($1000) 500 miles on them

Cons: (Most of which happened on my trek from Montana and I havent had the time to fix)
* Directionals and windows stopped working and it keeps blowing the fuse. A bad ground somewhere
* Only the rear tank is currently hooked up. The 6 port selector valve failed on one side. I purchased a used one from a junk yard, but I've been running it off of just the rear tank. The float in the rear tank needs to be replaced, so the fuel only reads at half when it is actually full. Both fuel systems are plumbed as they should be otherwise.
*The interior is a bit dirty and the drivers seat is torn up pretty good. Could use a good cleaning.
*The drip rail (see photo) is rotted in parts. Pictured is the worst part of it. All ford trucks of this vintage are notorious for drip rail rot. This is still very repairable and not a difficult job.
* Lastly, on my last 500 miles stretch I blew out one of the retreaded tires in the rear end. It tore a hole through the fender well fiberglass. All of the rounded edges are still there so it just needs a flat sheet to be repaired. This is also a very easy fix. The foot rail on that side also took a beating, It could be bent back, but will never be perfect. Please see the photos.

I'd love to keep this rig as it is the nuts, but I need a family car. My dream was to put stacks, front push bar and one of the 18 wheeler wings on it. Clean Montana title in hand, registered. Drive it home for 4500 trades considered.
