I've been thinking that one day I may need to take a lodger into my home, as a kind of house share as it were.
Now, seeing most of these cards in the shops advertising rooms saying "no men" (obviously there are other women in the house), how can I assume the opposite will be received if explicitly stipulated?
Personally I feel I will get a barrage of E-mails from women (who obviously can't read where it says NO-WOMEN, which should be read as "in any capacity") hating on me as to why this is so?
The funny thing is, if a male looking to house share puts up the ad and states he is a male and doesn't state the limitations on gender, no woman will reply anyway!
What I'm effectively asking is "has anyone been in a similar situation, or considered it?"
