1951 Triumph Mayflower

fuel: gas
title status: clean
transmission: automatic

1951 Triumph Mayflower, very rare car! This car is a fresh build (less than 500 miles on it) starting with a rust free body from Wyoming. The back half of the car was built with boxed tubing, a narrowed 9 inch Ford rear end with a 300 ratio posi traction, disc brakes and coil over shocks. It has a Mustang front end with new rack and pinion steering and disc brakes.

The rear wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust 15X10's with 29x12x15 Mickey Thompson tires, the front wheels are also American Racing Torque Thrust 15x5's with Firestone 125x15 tires.

The engine started as a low mileage Vortec 350 short block, fresh 1.94 heads, a mild blower cam and topped with the vintage Cragar 371 supercharger and new Edelbrock 750 carburetor. It has headers and 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. The car has manual steering and brakes. The transmission is a fresh Turbo 350 with a B&M shifter.

The car was painted Corvette Yellow in base coat clear coat and has custom lace painted on the roof. All of the glass is new with the exception of the rear window. The steering column is a shortened Firebird column. The interior is a new black pleated interior with new black carpet. The car has power windows but they need adjusted (they need help going up). There is a blue tooth speaker in the dash.

The battery and fuel tank are located in the trunk along with the 7 1/2 gallon fuel tank.

This is a very rare, unique car that needs very little to finish. It still needs a headliner, speedometer cable, windshield wipers and the inside of the trunk needs finished. I attempted to add a few videos without success. Please call or text and I will email the videos. One short video shows the engine starting and running and the other is a view from the passenger seat driving down the road.

This little car starts easily and runs and drives great. It was a hit at the Goodguys Car Show in Columbus, Ohio this past July. If you want a unique, dependable, drivable hot rod that turns heads, this is it. You will be hard pressed to find another one!
