With only 48 days to go until the Election, it has become increasingly clear that despite calls for transparency, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will not be releasing his tax returns. Of course, the real estate magnate turned politician has said that he is under audit, and that he would disclose his information when the process is complete.

But that didn’t stop Jimmy Kimmel, fresh off his stint hosting the Emmy Awards Sunday, from convincing some Trump supporters that their candidate of choice released the controversial tax returns yesterday. The Lie Witness News segment team hit Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday with the big “news” and to get their gauge about his spending habits.

Among the questions asked of admitted Trump supporters:

“Was it legitimate for Donald Trump to write off all those marriages over the years as quote ‘entertainment’?”

“What do you think about how Donald Trump listed his primary occupation on his tax forms as ‘Farmer’?”

“Obviously the big shock is that Donald Trump’s net worth is only $42,000 rather than $10 billion. Does that change your view on him?”

“What did you think about how Donald Trump donated $50,000 to Jared Fogle’s legal defense fund?”

“Were you surprised to see that Donald Trump wrote off nearly $100,000 in breast pumps for people in his family?”

Since we don’t actually have the man’s real tax returns to comb through, we can only imagine that the above questions are pretty close to his real expenditures. There is, of course, only one way to prove us wrong.
