In 1984 Ford sold 311 Lincoln Continentals and 138 Lincoln Mark VIIs with a Ford branded BMW turbo diesel as a way to meet new federal fuel guidelines. They only did it in 1984. They are rare. I challenge you to find one anywhere for sale. Rare does not mean valuable. This car is in great shape for the year. It has 175000 miles and is in original condition minus the addition of a toggle switch and light to activate AC clutch. The power mirror button is hit or miss. Everything else works fine. The air ride system is brand new and is flawless. AC is cold and has been converted to 138. Sunroof works great and no leaks. The motor has a leak at the oil pan gasket. Small leak, I just deal with it. Never a quart between changes. Gets 27MPG around town and 39 on a recent road trip from Ohio to NC. This car will make a great daily driver or a cool show car or you can be the guy that has what no one else does. Call Chad at show contact info
