Papers are clean and only a few months out.
Very complete car.
PERFECT project. BTW it has a 1980 Accord head on it.
The car runs (but needs water pump, and radiator resealed so I don't run it long at all), the transmission is good working order.
NEEDS: Tires (badly, rolling on ripped up tires now), alternator and water pump and radiator needs to be resealed. Also, seat covers would be expected,
I'm keeping my battery too, I've been using one out of my truck.
Car is yellow and needs a good polishing, should look pretty good after some work.
Needs a bit but still project.
Perfect for making custom & tricking out or back to original.
Price is FIRM. If you're serious about rebuilding then you better have more than $1000, right? This is a great investment.
I'm only selling because I have too many projects.
I'll let it sit till I get to it, if need be.
$1000 is cheap, and i have the room. I just hope the next owner does good with this car.
You could make a bundle if you part it out but I hope you wouldn't.
Lastly, I just replaced the head gasket. One of the head bolt's (not the shorty) head popped off. Since these are flared at the top and being spring bolts it has firmly locked itself in hard. So if you ever have to do another head gasket you will have to get that bolt out.
I've known these to sell finished in the $10's of thousands.
These are becoming pretty rare in this solid condition. You can find rusty ones cheap in other states but not here.
THE ONLY THINGS I'D TRADE FOR WOULD BE REGISTERED SCOOTERS (couple of smalls {50cc} to a hwy. Legal 250cc and up), TRAILBIKES (prefer hondas), MOPEDS, GOOD FAMILY BOAT OR A GOOD BODIED 73-75 BLAZER (bad eng. Ok) 4X4 (but really want another 2wd).
