Anyone else miss the good old days of 442 with SAF? Where our attacks were mostly setup from the wings and our strikers were ruthless. In his final year I guess it kind of transformed into a 4-2-3-1 but I liked watching the traditional United way.
Furthermore, I find it baffling that this formation is rarely used at all anymore, it's a perfectly balanced formation that relies on wingers alot and if you have a top class winger, it could do you wonders. Only closest example I could think of is Atletico Madrid and look where it got them.
