With no explanation on the IGG site all searches for SKARP reveal .. NOTHING . zip zero nada.. Apparently the fiasco started with a new update that pushed their delivery date to "indeterminate" and beyond the end of the year (they had promised a december delivery) and IGG had gotten hundreds of complaints.
Here is a breakdown of their "latest " update. you can immediately see the problems with their logic and they are lost on the plot.
SO what does SKARP have to say , what can we be enlightened with as proof of their razor?
Dear Skarpers, <-- good start
Firstly, we apologize for the paucity of updates. < --- Okay So you have something to show us right?! You wouldn't make an update without evidence of a working prototype?!
We've had our nose to the grind as engineers do, and per most recent article on CNET, published in June, we remain in the development phase. < --- wait .. what ? that is not what you said when you sold this to people, all you needed was fiber!
After multiple iterations of our technology, we had to redesign a key component (the custom drawn optical fiber) which has a 4 months lead time each draw/manufacturing, which has held us up. We have what we hope is the 'final' fiber on order, and are waiting for a delivery date from our vendors<----- Hold on .. hold on .. no this is not how any of this works Why would you have a "final" fiber on a full order if you don"t have a working sample .. and NO it does not take 4 months.. call Thorlabs they can draw any sample fiber for you in a week , Vendor(S) as in plural?
It may be that the fiber works great, but it can also be that it needs one or two more fine tunings. <----- WAIT you mean you cannot tell if the fiber , the laser , or the focusing mechanism is the problem? Really ? So you don't know if it is the fiber or something else ..
SO WHY ARE YOU ORDERING MORE FIBER WITH ANOTHER 4 MONTHS LEAD TIME IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS ?! ( see how easy it is to deconstruct this bs )
Our last projection for delivery was by the end of this year, but given the uniqueness of this technology, this date may slip. We will advise as soon as we are able.<------- ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .. Yeah .. "date might slip" Oh Oh you are killing me.. Please continue..
In discussion with Indiegogo, we have taken the decision to remove the 'InDemand' feature from our campaign, but will be updating our website when we have the results of the latest fiber, and at the right time, allow orders to be placed there. <--- let me predict your results whommmm whommmmm 4 months and nada nothing zip zero doesn't work (because physics called and said no, and health and safety said hells no. )
There continues to be a lot of comment by others whether this project is real or not; we can assure you it is. <---- As in real if you mean totally taking peoples money on junk science because .. people are dumb and .. please stop emailing IGG.. Please?
Thank you for your continued support.<-- those that are left and haven't tried a chargeback and future suckers
Yours sincerely,< -----not really , Just bought myself an all brass Espresso machine!

SO let's review..
Dear Skarpers , we noticed the rage building and people wanting to start a class action , and since so many of you have called IGG , we are catching in the teeth and had to pull down our InDemand. But we are still open for business for the suckers out there who are up for a good argument from authority . YAY! we have Will King .. oh wait ... Will.. where are you going ?
We have ordered new fiber because we cannot figure out if it is the fiber or if our idea is just stupid, So instead of refunding everyone we are just going to tack an arbitrary number of "4" next to the word "months" in hope you wont notice our failure to keep a single promise in either producing a prototype or a working theory of how this will actually work.
And we will of course ignore all scientific evidence that it cannot. because .. we are not that smart, but smart enough to take your money.
We are also hoping you don't call any of the major producers that can make "short run" of 150 feet of fiber for us to test. No , we have "vendor(s) plural for the fiber as well and NOBODY can get it to us before 4 months .. nooooo body .. no one .. not one .. trust us!
Also noticed we dropped the need for the "special laser module " since someone called the vendors and produced evidence it would cost over a half a million to dev a "magic laser" with a minimum buy of nearly a million units. so we went back to needing a fiber for this "cutting edge" BS
