The contrast on here regarding Rooney opinion is literally night and day. During the day European fans voice their disgust and at night the American and Asian fans show up and show their love for the man. But at the end of the day do people seriously think the leak situation isn't Rooney ??? It has to be a player and one who played under Fergie. Young? no, Mou loves him. Valencia? just no. DDG? no. Smalling? no. Rooney is a reactive man and this is his reaction. The media tells everyone he dragged down Uniteds play, so Rooney tells everyone its Mourinho's fault for telling the poor players off for playing like cowards.

Regardless, the man can't play football anymore. He's a massive liability to our play, breaking up 95% of attacks that run through him and offering nothing defensively. The Watford game was like a look into Rooneys football ability over the past 3 years on steriods. Its time to move on and Mourinho will have the balls to do it.

I guess it unintentionally comes across like that yeah. Its pretty obvious that there is a big shift of opinion on here throughout the day regarding Rooney so i just put 1 + 1 together, perhaps getting 3. But i think that if you polled American supporters and British ones on Rooney opinion the overall result would be massively different with the former wanting him dropped and the latter not.

It's simple for me the team, the club, United are bigger than any one player, even their captain. If the leak is Rooney he needs to go. If it's Carrick or Pogba or whoever else they need to go too. Good riddance if you put yourself above the team you don't deserve to be on the team, it's that simple.

Or it could be a load of shite from nobody thrown into an article for the journalists attention. English fans have this type of rabid journalism pumped into them intravenously, of course they are going to be more jaded. They are bred and lead like rats to follow a toxic tune by their media. I stopped reading it about 10 years ago and I've enjoyed the last decade of being a fan because enjoying football doesn't come along with having rubbish shouted at you by tabloid journalists in your down time. Much more fun and interesting experience, believe me.

I totally agree, much of the shite thrown at people by the media nowadays is for the simple purpose to brainwash the masses, swaying public opinion at will. Gary Neville's comments on Twitter however give this some credit as he has a lot of links within the club. Also the fact our lineups have been leaking for the past couple of years show we do indeed have a rat in the ranks, the common denominator being Wayne Rooney.

Sensationalism stripped aside that guy just cant play football. I seriously think he would struggle to score regularly in league 1. Its sad to see but true non the less.

Haha so I'm not saying it wasn't Rooney, but you cant just say "no" after the other player's names and not give a reason. And for the "leak" that we don't even know is true, we need to stop speculating and accusing our players when it probably isn't even true, and get behind our team.
