More a TRP question. Short answer yes but it requires a lot of work. Women inherently are probing for weakness When they find it they pounce on it.

The legend of Samson in the Bible sums it up. Delilah constantly kept on searching for Samson's weakness once she found it she crippled him.

I've seen it happen with a few friends. Their women do not work and their men make just little enough that half would not be enough to live off of. The men are polite and respectful of their wives but do what they like. Very rare.
