I'd guess mourinho already told him hes not starting against leicester and hes gone off on one. LVG pampered him with that 'the captain must always play' bs.

This leak doesn't help Jose at all, it presents the notion he's losing parts of the dressing room already which is an absolute fucking nightmare

It does, it solves the biggest problem he has in Rooney having to play or keeping him happy. He can turn it around.

It doesn't help really. Jose has no proof that it's Rooney, he can have suspicions, but unless the journo comes out and says where he got it from we don't know. That's an uncertainty in the dressing room, who can he trust? His captain?

This is also just the start of the media blitz that will likely come from Rooney and Stretford aka Triple S sports.

He will find out if any of it is true, he will know.

I definitely think he's going to have a meeting. No one leaves until someone admits it or fines until someone owns up.

We cannot allow this to happen

[–]House_Of_LannisterAnd who are you...? 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

A manager of mine would do this when something went wrong at work. We would all be called in on an inconvenient day to attend a staff meeting/staff disciplinary.

Short story is, it NEVER helped. We hated him more for doing so.

Like he said he can have his suspicions, but is his captain going to admit to being a snake? Who wants to admit to being a snake?

It doesn't matter, Mourinho is an intelligent guy, Rooney is not. If it's true, he will know either way.

If it is Rooney, we'll find out soon when he's dropped, no fucking way would Mou let him off or any player off with leaking info to the press

How do you know its Rooney? Or even a player?

I have no idea why everyone is soo fuckin hell bent this is Rooney! We've had similar leaks in the past and 99% of them were bullshit. This is just coming at a time when this sub is sooo down on Rooney, everything ends up being his fault!

Well, most things have been Rooney's fault

If you say so! Not at all our defensive frailties in the past week. We went from "Oh Wow We're back and killing it again!" to holy fuck Rooney is such a dirtbag and we're fucked!

Nah a lot of us have been calling for Rooney to go for 3+ years!

Rooney has been a problem for the past 2/3 years. He's holding this team back and I can't fucking stand it. I said back in July/August that Rooney was going to be our biggest problem, and he is.

A few weeks ago when I was writing an article about the teams weakness', I thought I'd seen the light about Rooney. His performances against City and Watford completely changed my opinion of him. He needs to get dropped or leave. I've had enough with him.

I'm presuming it's a player from Gary Neville's tweet but who else could it be in the dressing room? Everything else suggests it's Rooney, from the details on him being worried for his place in the article, to his/his agents history with the English media/journalists.

Why would Rooney leak something that could jeopardize his relationship with Mourinho. The manager that keeps playing him when everyone is calling for his head

Because Jose obviously ripped him a new one after Watford and knows he's going to be dropped v Leicester. The media and fans have turned on him and it's what Rooney does, it's in his nature to retaliate.

Where are you getting this information from? See these are all speculations people are treating as facts. Had someone call it evidence.

Of course i'm speculating, I'm not claiming to know either way. Just my opinion based on the facts.

You didn't state any facts though.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s “hairdryer” treatment became infamous at Old Trafford but Mourinho’s rebukes are believed to carry a nastier edge that has not gone down well in the dressing room. “His delivery of criticism is nasty,” one source said. “It is far more personal than Fergie ever was.”

Doesn't say it's a player but who else is left from the SAF era?

Several of United’s senior players went to see Louis van Gaal to urge the former manager to lay off Shaw after the Dutchman’s frequent public criticism of the England left-back during his first season in charge.

It's been suggested many times this was Rooney and co. Unsure if that's been confirmed.

Wayne Rooney has always been a vocal voice in the dressing room but the United captain is understood to feel under immense pressure after a disappointing start to the season and is worried about his place in the team against Leicester after a dismal showing at Watford, when he came in for severe criticism on social media from fans.

How does he know Rooney is under pressure? That his place v Leicester is in doubt?

There are staff members still there

Never been confirmed

How does he know Rooney is under pressure? That his place v Leicester is in doubt?

Could be inferring or from whoever the source is

Like I said, I'm speculating but I know where most the evidence is pointing.

Also, his history of retaliation with players/refs and having the last word, it's a habit.

His on the field antics is not a fact he did it.

That is how he behaves, you could argue it's a fact, that is his personality.

All the evidence currently points to Rooney.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty so I'm not saying it is 100% him but it is a possibility

Wait what leaks? I've been busy all day haven't checked out the news!!!

[–]Mepsi -1

It could just as easily be Pogba

It's a disaster for Mou, regardless of who leaked or why it was leaked. He's less than a year removed from overseeing an absolute debacle at Chelsea that culminated in him being sued by his physio, losing the dressing room and finally being sacked with his team sitting the lower half of the table. He already came in to the job battling sentiment that he sowed dysfunction whereever he went, and a growing suspicion that his tactics were outdated.

Yes, it's okay to be furious that this stuff is being leaked when it should handled in-house, but don't delude yourself in thinking that this is helping Mou in anyway at all. If he doesn't defuse this situation this could be the end of his career managing big clubs.
