Honestly, I don't want Mourinho to go anywhere.

Realistically, if the players do quit on him, he will be sacked. It's a numbers game. It's easier to replace one manager than it is to replace X amount of players.

Personally, if that happens, I would be disgusted.

Woodward should tell the players Mourinho is not going anywhere. If you don't want to be here, I can show you the door.

If we sack Jose it's going to begin an endless cycle of sack and replace. We've have mediocrity under Moyes and Van Gaal, give Jose time to get it right. If Jose ends up sacked by the end of the season I may genuinely lose all love for the club because I refuse to watch a starting 11 of spineless pussies getting overpaid to purposefully underperform. Spend my hard earned money in a pub watching/going to the games? Fuck that

Exactly. Let's even assume we sack Jose, then what? We appoint a new manager, players think he is being too hard, then, what, we sack him, too?

Do we just hire and sack managers until there is one who shines the boots of players, kisses the ground they walk on, tells them how great their performances are, and does their washing up? Yeah, right.

If it´s Rooney, I don´t want to see him in Manchester United shirt again. This is now the third manager that has had a leek coming from the dressing room.

Rooney should man up and take some fucking responsibility

I would be extremely surprised, if this was anyone other than Rooney. It has to be someone who has knowledge of SAF's inner workings and is able to juxtapose those with Mourinho's.

After the press he has received this week, this is Rooney trying to get the supporters on his side, unite against the manager, and get him ousted.

How can you say "if it's Rooney"? It quite clearly is. Him and Stretfords grubby hands all over that leak.

Why do you think it's rooney?

There is Rooney, De Gea, Smalling, Jones, Young, Valencia, Carrick, Mata and Fellaini.

Then the ones who liked LVG, Blind, Martial, Lingard, Rashford (maybe), Mata again.

Listen, I know all the craze is around hating Rooney, but if he's still starting in these games, then I don't know if it's really him.

There's far more options than just Rooney.

What leak? Everyone is talking about it and most of us don't know what the f is the leak thing they you lots are talking about! Jesus Christ

Read the article by James Ducker. It's at the top of the front page ffs.

sack a man who has eyed this job for years and allow a bunch of spineless cowards drive him out of the club. I'm not having this become a sack-employ-sack club like Chelsea, I'd rather lose most of the players than have those trying to make the team look bad getting paid to play for a club and manager they're trying to undermine.

I'm sorry but if we don't get top 4, or put up a damn good fight and the mitigating circumstances are how good the other teams are, then I can't defend a man no matter how much he's wanted this job.

If he can't mobilize us after a year, then I'm sorry to say it should be over.

Top 4 is the be all and end all for a manager. I supported LVG till he failed to do that, and I won't have any hesitation doing the same thing with Mourinho.

how many managers have to get sacked until it´s the players fault?

And how many players are we going to sack until we build a team perfectly for a manager again?

Mourinho winning the title in 2015 is in the past now, just like when Pellegrini won it as well.

If the manager can't deal with the players, then that's his problem, because there are managers who are able to do so.

we are 5 games into the season and there is a leak from the dressing room. There are rotten apples in the dressing room and hopefully Jose sorts them out or else they will get him fired like last 2 managers we had.

Mourinho has to be responsible for his own actions. We know that Mourinho isn't always the best at keeping his teams happy, so this is a trend we have to look after and monitor carefully.

I agree with your stance, top four needs to be the minimum for us, I don't think you can go and spend 200M odd, spend £90M on one player and not get top four. I don't think that's acceptable.

But what I also don't think is acceptable is the players not giving him a chance. 5 games in and we already have leaks. This is disgraceful. If we missed top four by a hair with this stuff ongoing, I'd have no problems backing Mourinho for a second season, and letting him clean out the changing rooms to remove the toxic elements.

Top four is the be all and end all, but we have to give the manager a chance to do it at least.

If the players are actually turning on him already, then that's an even more worrying sign.

I'm giving Mourinho the benefit of the doubt, because I don't want to turn into a sacking club, but we need to be able to mobilize for top 4.

I'm not sure man.

3 managers, 4 years.

It's like this, if a team loses once or twice, it's probably the players fault by and large. If they keep losing, it's probably the managers fault. But if you're changing managers and they keep on losing, even though players are coming and going, you have to start looking at the elements that have persisted throughout this whole period of time.

3 managers, 4 years.

You ask this sub last year, and 3 years ago under Moyes, and it's quite obvious what the problem was according to a ton of the posters, it's the managers fault. Now with Mourinho why is it any different?

But if you're changing managers and they keep on losing, even though players are coming and going, you have to start looking at the elements that have persisted throughout this whole period of time.

We'd literally have to sell half our squad to get rid of the ones that liked LVG, and the ones that have been here for all 3 managers. We can't do that. Mourinho should be able to get top 4 with this group of players.

I agree, this is really bad. Did it occur to anyone that maybe CO92 is behind this? Why would Neville publicly confirm that it's an inside leak? There's no need for that whatsoever.

Class of '92. Sorry, am trying to take as little time typing so I can read everything posted on the subject.

The 92nd batch of carbon monoxide that Mourinho carries around with him. That's why all the newspapers label him as 'toxic'.

Seriously though, class of '92

So when Moyes was in charge, everything was his fault. When LvG was here, everything was his fault. Now that Mourinho's here, everything is the players' fault(s). Seriously, some of you on here need another hobby or something

[–]TrebolationsJose Mourinho 3

This is a leak very early in the season. Neither Moyes or LVG had to go through with this shit so soon.

How is that relevant to anything that I said? You think there wasn't a single player early on under those managers who was unhappy?

There almost certainly was but at least they kept it to themselves instead of starting a public shitstorm for personal gain like what's happened tonight.
