Guardian Contributor Julie Bindel Is at War With the Entire Male Race

Guardian contributor, feminist activist and self-described “full-on lezzer” Julie Bindel no doubt receives massive amounts of online abuse for writing articles like “Women, face it: marriage can never be feminist” and “Now we can make sperm, is this the end of men?

But in an act of pure masochism today on Twitter she responded to her trolls with a (probably) tongue-in-cheek statement on the male race.

The response was swift and predictable, with Bindel’s detractors swarming to pile on the tweet.

Bindel, who lives in the UK, is an interesting figure in feminist activism. Some of her views are extremely controversial, if not reviled by other feminists. Last year she was ironically banned from attending a debate at University of Manchester on feminism and censorship, along with alt-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.

She is so loathed by other feminists that they often often refer to her as a TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist). TERFS don’t believe trans women are real women, which enrages intersectional feminists.

“I don’t have a problem with men disposing of their genitals, but it does not make them women, in the same way that shoving a bit of vacuum hose down your 501s does not make you a man,” she wrote in the Guardian.

Some other Twitter highlights include wishing exile on comedian Jim Norton:

Anger at Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn’s views on decriminalizing prostitution:

And, of course, plenty of man jokes:

Keep fighting the good fight Bindel! A few more opinion pieces in The Guardian and the male race will certainly mass migrate to the bottom of the ocean.
