Totally agree. I posted this elsewhere giving one of my reasons for voting Trump:

I don't want to vote in an interventionist neocon that wants to provoke Russia, possibly start a war, and continue the whole military-industrial profiteering. The Hillary campaign has thrown McCarthyite epithets labeling Trump as a Russian spy and demonizing Putin and Russia. To me, knowing a bit of the geopolitics, it seemed like she was already starting the propaganda machine as if she was already crowned POTUS and continuing Obama's interventionist policies (and I say this as a 2x Obama voter and disappointed with his aggressive foreign policies). Putin doesn't want war (they've had two government collapses in the 20th century and he has done everything to avoid a 3rd one), Russia is no longer the Soviet Union, and yet we are in the midst of a 2nd cold war because of Obama's aggressive policies towards Russia. If anyone has only been listening to US MSM about the Ukraine/Crimea situation, then they've been propagandized by DC talking points. The eastern region of Ukraine (Crimea) is made up of 5 million ethnic Russian, Russian-speaking peoples. They decided for themselves through referendum to leave the Ukraine and peacefully join Russia. It's basic right to self-determination. Yet now there is war mongering and a lot of money poured into the situation that the military-industrial complex has greatly benefited from. Kiev has been acting more bombastic now and bombing Crimea, killing innocent civilians, because they have the backing of the US/NATO. Hillary's hawkish foreign policy truly makes me fear her presidency. Trump, on the other hand, is more willing to have earnest talks with Russia and to actually debate the worthiness of NATO. He's a negotiator and a dealmaker, not a fighter. Russia could also be a beneficial ally to the US, particularly in regards to trade, combatting terrorism, and potentially dealing with Iran.
