Reid mocked Trump's business abilities, including his bankruptcies and the Trump ventures -- like Trump Steak and Trump Magazine -- that have gone under.
"In lieu of real business success, Trump resorts to scams, like Trump University," Reid said, pointing to the various lawsuits and investigations surrounding the Trump program.
Reid alleged that, with all the litigation surrounding his past ventures, "Trump, being the flim-flammer, he just moves to another scheme."
Reid also bashed Trump's charitable giving -- or lack there of -- while citing reports that Trump uses the contributions of others to his Trump Foundation to make donations he can take credit for.
"If he doesn't have the money himself -- which he obviously doesn't -- then he uses other people's money," Reid said.
Reid then went on to critique the Republican lawmakers who are supporting Trump.
"How can Senator McConnell and Speaker Ryan continue to endorse this man?" Reid said. "How can Republicans continue to close their eyes to the fact that this swindler is running for President and he is ripping off the American people and our government?"
Reid went on to call Trump a "silver spoon-doting fraud who would not make it in the real world without his father's money."
"He's always looking for a mark, some victim for one of his schemes, because he's incapable of making money honestly," Reid said. "Now our country -- our country is Trump's next target."
