Matuidi and Nainggolan are not DMs. We haven't even played with the DMs that we've got(Carrick and Schneiderlin).

Just saw that Isco Rumor. ESPN is reporting it so who knows what that actually means. Personally, I like Isco or James, but Isco is in way better form. Matuidi would be a great DM for us. Those would make for a very entertaining 2nd half for the season, but its still crazy early in the season. We expect all these new players to have perfect chemistry and under stand their roles perfectly after so few matches together. Also, we need a RB. Valencia is doing a job for now, but defensively we need better.

A holding midfielder who can also control games (deep lying playmaker basically). Someone like Carrick/Xabi Alonso. That's the only thing I can see us doing in January, as it's been an ongoing problem for a while. Next summer I think Mourinho will go for a center back to partner Bailly, someone like Varane. Smalling is a good player but his lack of any ability on the ball will mean he won't ever be a key player. After that, either a #10/advanced mid or just use Mkhitaryan as that and buy a right winger (or use Rashford as the right wing).
