The explanation is simple and most of you probably already know it. Still, as a reminder and for the uninitiated...

Let us say you have a population of 1,000 people consisting of 999 women and 1 man. That one man could, in the space of a year, impregnate all those 999 women and in 9 months, we would have close to 2,000 people; essentially doubling the population. This is a good thing because the more people there are, the more likely the species will survive in case of a disaster.

Now, consider the opposite scenario. A population of 1,000 people but with one woman and 999 dicks. How long would it take to bring the population up to 2,000 people? You can do the math if you like but I think we can agree it's A LOT longer. Time is therefore not on the side of this unfortunate population if a disaster were to happen (and they often did in the past).

So, left to its own devices, evolution or nature will ALWAYS ensure females are prioritized over males. Accept it and move on. Cheers, bros. :)
