Still think Mourinho is the better manager for what he did at Porto and Chelsea

Pep, although amazing, had the best Barcelona team and best Bayern team before dismantling it

Our problem is no one is showing any creativity which is massively hurting our midfield and attacking

Defensively we're weak, our full-backs are too attacking and Smalling gets found out whenever he's against anyone decent

Keep in mind it's only 5 games into the season, City WILL lose games, main thing this season is to get into the top 3 to save our Adidas sponsorship and replace mediocre players

He created the best Barcelona team EVER. Not succeed, created.

That team was Frank Rijkaard's. Pep is a great manager but he was handed great teams.

Look at when they both had the two best teams in the world in the same league. Mourinho got 3 trophies, Pep got 6 (2 plus a fucking quadruple). Their head-to-head stat doesn't favor Mourinho either.

I am not being reactionary following our consecutive losses. I think Mourinho is a great fit for United's brand/image, and I'd rather have him rather than Pep. I used to follow the spanish league when they were both there. Pep's style of football was very efficient but it genuinely bored me to tears. As much as I love Mourinho, I think Pep is a notch better than Mourinho if you consider their stats.

A little humbleness goes a long way, frankly. We've had the best coach for 20 years, I don't think we have anything to complain about.

Sorry you got downvoted for not being reactionary and actually not freaking out. Season is young people are acting like we have already been relegated.

If we are talking about a manager who will have his team more attractive brand of attacking football then answer is well and truly YES. That's Guardiola's philosophy. So I am not surprised that City are playing well and creating chance after chance. Whether this philosophy will be able to win titles after title like he did and Barca or Bayern well that's remain to be seen. We have to wait till Spring to get that question answered. I don't have much of an issue with Jose's pragmatic approach, if we can be efficient like his Chelsea team were under his first spell, I would be happy. But at this point, we are very disjointed both in attack and defense.

Fucking way too early to tell. Remember, City had won the league in September last year as well.

Has Pep had a better start? For sure. But he also already have a squad used to playing with each-other. City have Aguero, Silva, KDB, Sterling, Fernandinho etc who all have had at least a season to get used to City. Meanwhile, United have Zlatan, Pogba, Michy and Bailly, all new players, and all presumed starters.

Of course it's going to take some time to get everyone accustomed to playing with each-other. It's nothing new.

Didn't think so at first becuase I was deluding myself that Guardiola wasn't that good when in fact he's actually brilliant.

Here's the thing. If Mourinho can't implement his tactics on us, imagine this bunch of players trying to play Guardiola tactics. Pressing and passing are 2 things we're terrible at.

Pep is just the best manager in the game - imo there is no doubt about that, but Mourinho still can beat him because of the advantage he has about knowing the league.

I preffered Pep over Mou but I'm not upset now even the results gone better for Pep and Co. Niether Pep nor the Mourinho offers more than 3 years solution for us so it's about to get everything to the last drop of sweat and win as much as possible.

I still believe some younger and more progressive manager still waiting to take over the United for long term.

9 days ago you would have write after the first paragraph "what he has absolutely done"
