In my opinion it's quite evident what is needed. Play two actual holding midfielders, with Pogba in no.10.

This would be my XI:

De Gea,

Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Shaw,

Herrera, Blind,

Pogba,

Mkhi, Ibra, Martial

Of course this is assuming everyone is fit to play. The wingers up top will vary (and Schneiderlin could interchange in the DM role) but the structure is needed. Two players who understand defensive responsibilities while letting the creative players do what they need to do up top.

We've been playing 4-2-3-1 for the most part, with Pogba as one of the 2. I doubt we'll move Pogba into the 10 role unless Rooney's dropped

Also I'd rather play Blind in the back, if we're gonna play 2 CDMs as the holding mids, I'd go for Carrick, or just play Morgan and put Herrera next to him

Blind is able to spread the play with his passing ability, as well as read danger in and around the box. If he was playing yesterday I feel they wouldn't have had the space where they did to score those goals.
