Gary Neville has posted on Twitter stating that if the Manchester United dressing room isn’t wound-up now following a post from the official Liverpool account then it never will be.
The two rivals will meet in a clash at Anfield on October 17th in four matches time and Neville believes the United players should be fired up following a post on the social media site.
The Merseysiders responded to a message on the club’s official account following United’s 3-1 defeat to Watford on Sunday with the simple yet effective “delete”.
The original fan message was thanking Liverpool for beating Chelsea on Friday evening, stating that they had beaten one of Manchester United’s title rivals.

The former United player, now turned Sky Sports pundit was clearly unimpressed with the post and took to social media himself to share via his personal Twitter account that it could backfire on Liverpool when the two sides meet on the pitch.
Don't mind a tweet like that at all but IF that United changing room isn't wound up now it never will be!! https://t.co/CNWnHojqux

During his playing career Neville was a key figure in firing up the United support.
A match in 2006 particularly stands out, when the full-back celebrated in front of the Liverpool fans kissing his badge in a 1-0 victory in 2006.
The rivalry is one of the biggest in England and it has produced many fiery clashes in the past.
Manchester United will have also already been looking for revenge after Liverpool dumped them out of the Europa League when the two last met.
In other Liverpool news, BBC pundit Garth Crooks has named three Reds stars in his team of the week.
