I'm having flashbacks of last year's Chelsea, where he kept playing Ivanovic, Costa and Fabregas when they were utterly, totally shit. Even though Loic Remy would improve them so much he would only put him on for the last 15 minutes. Same with Baba Rahman. Djilobodji was not even given one game. He could have easily put the youngsters (like Kennedy who was a bright spark) in when their top 4 ambition was effectively over, but he still played Oscar, Fabregas, Costa and fucking Ivanovic.
Jose's lack of rotation is no secret, but he used to be a more hands-on coach before he went to Real Madrid. You might remember, in his first spell with Chelsea, he had no problems dropping any player who was not performing (except maybe Terry and Lampard).
I know some people will say he dropped Matic, Mata and others, but I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about the guys who have a big "stature" in the dressing room. I don't know whether he has chummed up too much to the players. I don't know if he is simply too stubborn. But I have serious doubts if he has the balls to drop Rooney and Zlatan.
