I'll start. Smalling needs to be sold and Blind needs to come back into the starting 11. Him and Bailly are wank on the ball and we won't crack the top 6 with them turning the ball over all the time.

Regardless of whether or not Mou turns it around, we will probably fall behind City and stay behind them for the foreseeable future. They have a footballing identity now and are well run. They are seeing the culmination of a decade long project. We seem to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off throwing money everywhere so we don't lose our sponsors. Don't get me wrong, we had a great window, but we need to massively restructure the way this club is run if we don't want to spend 250m every 3 years.

A lot of our players are not good enough. We need another massive clear out.

  • Jones
  • Rojo
  • Memphis
  • Smalling (need to find a ball-playing CB to partner with Bailly, but one that is also physically gifted.)
  • Carrick (contract will, in all likelihood, not be renewed)
  • Young (not good enough, and we need to find another RB.) (Fabinho)
  • Fellaini (I know opinion of him has changed here, but, for me, he's not good enough for our midfield.)
  • Darmian
  • Schneiderlin (his progress has stalled. We need a world-class DM.)
  • Schweinsteiger
  • Rooney (nothing needs to be said here.)

We should be able to offload a vast majority of them, if we tell them they have no future here. Memphis, Jones, Rojo, Smalling, Fellaini, Darmian, and Schneiderlin should be able to be offloaded.

Young, Rooney, and Schweinsteiger's contracts will likely have to be bought out. Rooney's will be extremely expensive. Since Rooney's contract runs until 2019 and if his wages are £300,000 per week, he will likely cost us £31,200,000 to buy out the remainder of his contract.

Jones just got a 5 year contract , Memphis is on 160 a week I think we were trying to get rid of Rojo and Darmian they didn't want to leave there's no way I see Utd buying out Rooneys contract

Jones and Memphis are young enough to find another team. If we tell them they will not ever play for United again, they will leave. If we can find Darmian someone in Italy, I could see him going.

I think the issue with Rojo was that he did not want to go to China. If we can find his a somewhat decent side, he could leave.

I agree with you on Rooney. However, if this club wants to move forward and not live in the past, Rooney has to leave.

Agreed. I think Blind as a centerback is fine at the moment though. Bailly just needs to stop making mistakes.

Here's one I truly believe:

I don't mind if we crash out of the Europa League. We've got a better chance at securing a top 4 spot with well rested first team players that are not distracted or tired by Thursday games. Europa league is so far from priority in my opinion. And as much as I like to see second team or backup players get some time on the field, we need to concentrate on securing an attainable top 4 than hoping we win the competition. I say this because I don't think our team players who will be fielded for Europa games will be enough to win anything. They're LVG relics and not cut out for it.

Top 4 or nothing this season. Top of the league next season. Top of the Champions League whenever possible lol

4-4-2 diamond is the way forward with the players that we have. We have no actual wingers who stay wide and can constantly beat people.
