Trump is a Russian agent being actively supported by Putin in order to achieve global dominance. His xenophobic and isolationist policies serve to ensure that Russia will not have a major superpower opposing it on the world stage, allowing Putin to enter his endgame: restoration of the Soviet Union.

Op asked for a conspiracy theory not the frightening reality.

I've got one...

Trump's campaign or his supporters or Putin's people set off those pipe bombs in NJ and NYC today, to scare people into voting for him.

The timing of the NYC bombing was too perfect. Less than 10 minutes after it happened he was reporting it to the crowd in CO. He said it was a bomb, but they didn't know if it was a bomb at the time. He was briefed and told it was an explosion.

Edit, Trump knows a bunch of people who do construction

A couple months ago on WTF Podcast, Marc Maron predicted that Trump and Putin would cause a terrorist attack to help Trump's campaign. Although he suspected an attack on LA, but that's probably because he lives there.

I think NYC/ NJ makes more sense. Trump's from here. He knows people on the mob, he's got connections to criminals who have no problem hurting a couple of people for money.

ISIS and the far-right? Same fucking people. ISIS is just a tool to drum up support for far right parties in Europe and the United States, from Front Nationale, to AfD to - surprise - Donald Trump. Whenever there's a sink in the polls, you can count on them to be there to do damage and get the public to piss their knickers so much that they'll gladly vote their whole democracy away.

Thank you, I forgot to mention that. So, when these attacks happen, people inevitably make the composition fallacy and manage to come to the conclusion that 1.6 billion Muslims are all terrorists. Hate crimes rise, Muslims are further alienated, and a few of 'em are pushed into joining ISIS. Rinse and repeat.

They also rely on taxing would-be refugees for financing. Accepting refugees threatens to bleed them dry of money and manpower. It is one of their greatest fears.
