Was there one event that turned you MGTOW? If so, what was it.

I'll start. Several things pointed me to the MGTOW path. But the final straw was alimony. Lifetime alimony? The idea that I have to be made to pay for the rest of my life? I thought that alimony was like unemployment insurance. That you have to pay a woman until she gets on her feet. Maybe a year or two. I said to myself, there is no way that men know this. I researched it on my own. Surprise, surprise. Not only do men know, they are okay with it. One guy told me that it was the cost of doing business. Thanks but no thanks. I'll never pay alimony.
