De Bruyne once again showing how important a world class no 10 is. Quick footed and quick thinking, so difficult to play against compared to players who need three touches before even deciding what to do with the ball.

What's more critical is that other players are working hard to open up space for each other. The second goal showed that quite well; four players hauling ass and making the right runs. If it were us, Rooney would probably have had to stop at the halfway line to wait for a couple of players to join in the attack and people would start calling him all sorts of names.

We need to keep winning to keep pace, if not EPL might end up looking like Bundesliga table cometh the end. That said, I also think City cannot keep this hard work going all season, at some point they will slow down

With players like De Bruyne, Sterling, Nolito, Silva behind the striker they are scary.

When Aguero comes back and slots into that striker position I think injuries or some major team meltdown are the only two obstacles stopping then winning the league. That and us of course...
