I have three film recommendations by director Terrence Malick that have themes on relationships. He is a bit of a reclusive, auteur, art house type director, therefore his style will likely not be to most peoples preference. There isn't much of a script or narrative in his films as his focus is on capturing emotion and human experience while letting the viewer inject their own interpretation. Since stumbling upon MGTOW I've found his work portrays the nature and role of women fairly accurately within each of his films given time periods.
The Tree of Life - Depicts a family in the 1950s raising three sons. The difference in character/values and parenting styles is of note.
To the Wonder - Modern day. Follows a bachelor's pursuit, courting two distinctly different women. The behavior of the foreign women is seemingly familiar to modern Western women.
Knight of Cups - This is his latest film. The focus is a journey of existentialism through hedonism. An accurate reflection of the lack of appeal/decline of committed long term relationships and the rise of hookup culture in the modern age.
For those that have seen his works I would encourage you to share your impressions of these works as they relate to MGTOW and your personal experiences with women/dating.
