Best friend has been dating this girl since highschool about to be three years. We're both juniors in college and his girlfriend is a freshman in college and she decides to go to a different school about two hours away. They broke up in the summer and they have been on and off ever since. She's been trying to talk to other guys but tells him that she only talked to them and never "did" anything with them. Now she wants to come visit him this weekend even though all they do is fight. He keeps texting me about it getting me involved and I told him to visit this sub reddit but he's getting a bad impression of it. He says that he's in love with her but doesn't want to marry her. I told him it's not worth having a girlfriend in college if you don't expect to marry her. She's a really nice girl but the way he's been explaining it to me she's just playing him. He's starting to fall behind in his studies because he's too stressed about her. What do you guys think I should tell him to convince him to worry about school and not this girl.
