It's a mystery. But this is what they want. They are disrupting the flow of the game with "soft" fouls and are slowing it down to a pace which befits their style of play. We're frustrated as a result of it. Rashford is isolated. The ball is being played through the middle constantly instead of the wide areas. Pogba runs forward and is blocked off. Just a shambles really.

Fair play to Feyenoord, they have a game plan and so far it's working really well. Rashford and Martial getting surrounded immediately once they have the ball. Pogba needs to step it up and show his ability, he's our worst midfield player so far. Darmian and especially Rojo getting destroyed

There's definitely a difference in match fitness between the two sides, we keep misplacing passes and getting out of position. Hopefully Mourinho can sort this out during the break.

Rojo isn't the issue here. We have a midfield of absentees; whenever the defense has the ball, there's no one to collect it and get an attack going. That's a job for Morgan or Pogba as far as I'm concerned. We're not playing counter-attacking, we're playing a possession game.

Darmian and Smalling have been good though, despite their lack of game time.

We are slow at starting games . Against Bournemouth, Southampton, Hull, and City we didn't really get going until the second half. I don't know if that's only been a matter of circumstance in each game, but I hope that trend continues today.

I think you seriously see the drop off in offensive distribution from Rojo, it's simply not good enough against a team that's forcing to the wings and clogging the middle. Also I think Ander is playing too conservative along with most of the squad, would like them to really force the ball to Pogba in order to open them up.

I thought Herrera was our best player by far. Darmian has put in a couple of good crosses but he hasn't been giving us the width like Valencia does. Nor does he have the ability or blistering pace to beat a man. Rojo has been abysmal. I cannot stand to even see him on the pitch.
