FIRST HALF UPDATES:

0' Feyenoord kick off in red and white, United in blue. Very low camera angle in the stadium though but this should be exciting.

4' Very nice interplay between Rashford, Herrera, and Mata early on but no chances either way yet.

8' United have started brightly and are playing the ball all across the final third, but no shots for either team.

10' Feyenoord with the first corner of the game and it's a well delivered ball but it's cleared well by United.

11' Feyenoord with the first shot of the game from range but De Gea deals with it easily.

13' Bailly is down hurt after an innocuous interception but TFM is warming up as he may not be able to continue. This would be very unfortunate. He might be able to continue but we'll see.

16' United with a free kick in a dangerous position. Pogba is standing over it... He hits it well but it's comfortable and straight at Brad Jones. Bailly is back and looking fine.

23' Martial comes close! Rashford plays it to Darmian who crosses low to Martial on the edge of the box but his shot is inches wide!

Ye, can remember chanting "Thursday night, channel 5" at the Scouse! But ye, Thursday night, 6pm kick off, odd feeling. I do like Friday night fixtures tho in the premier league I think that's a good idea, good time for a beer :-)
