We developed a gaming controller that works with AR/VR Mobile games. We are coming out with a host of games for this fun device!
About this project
Risks and challenges
Nintendo has asked us to move on for the time being and remove any assets from the page.
But don't worry! This actually has removed any risk of going to market, because we can now focus on our original platform. Imagine bowling anywhere, or fighting zombies in your local park!
We still think we have a shot at getting this integrated into Pokemon Go at some point.
With mobile VR/AR you can go and do anything. And we are unlocking free access to our API to any developer- OPEN SOURCE!
No Risks or Challenges here!

We are first and foremost a software company that makes tools for game developers. We had an idea to create a suite of APIs and a game engine plugin that allow game developers to integrate real world objects into their mobile games. Our technology turns an object like a ball into something that interacts with digital objects in augmented reality games.

Ever since the creation of the smart phone, mobile has been the latest platform for gaming innovation, but the original inspiration was seeing Augmented and Virtual Reality changing video gaming forever. If AR/VR is being used NOW in mobile gaming, what's to stop us from using real world connected devices in those games? Internet of things and connected devices are now advanced enough, so we thought we would build it.
When Pokemon Go came out we immediately saw that there was a real opportunity with our technology to fill a real need for the game: a tangible object to be thrown.

The potential for this technology is endless. We are experienced game makers, and we already have ideas for a set of titles that would create a brand new category in mobile augmented reality gaming. Some ideas range from a golf type game where the goal is to hit a target on par all the way to a grenade combat game.
In the event that NianticLabs turns down our partnership and we do not get a licensing agreement, all of our backers would have an option after viewing our newest games that we are currently developing. We would issue an update with the newest game play and if you still are not interested, you will have the option to be issued a full refund. If you after viewing our newest integrated games choose to continue delivery you will receive them with our kinetic device.
With all that being said, rest assured knowing that our number one focus is for this product to come to market with NianticLabs and Pokemon Go. And that is why we need your support to show them the demand for this technology.
Kickstarter does not issue refunds after a project is funded. But if our project is funded and we are unable to go to market with Niantic, we can issue a refund manually. Your refund will reflect the total amount pledged minus all the original processing fees (8-10%).

Why does the ball look a little rough around the edges? Will it be made with high quality materials?
We have been moving very fast to get this product working and shown in the light you are seeing. What you see in the pictures is a prototype, and we did the best we could with the time that we had. We will have a LOT more time and the budget to perfect the finished product once it is going to market.
WE ARE PERFECTIONISTS. We love product design and you can rest assured knowing that we will spend the time necessary to make sure the final product is without rough edges and made with pristine materials.

Right now we have our own application that mimics the function that the ball would have in the game if it were integrated. Pokemon Go is built on the Unity3D game engine. We are building a Unity3D plugin that can easily port in this functionality. We will work with their team to bring this to their game. But at this moment, it isn’t integrated, and having a background application wouldn’t allow us to tie in the functionality to Pokemon Go.

We are developing this technology as a Unity3D plugin. Unity3D is the industry standard game engine that most games today are built on. Our developer kit is for game developers who want to integrate our technology into any augmented or virtual reality game that they are making.
