Trump had said he would release detailed records soon

Donald Trump will not release his medical records or discuss his most recent physical exam in an appearance on the Dr. Oz Show this week.

Trump will appear on Thursday’s episode of the show, which is scheduled to be taped on Wednesday, for a general conversation about health and wellness, the New York Times reported.

Trump recently suggested that both he and Hillary Clinton release “detailed medical records,” as he sought to raise doubts about her health. Clinton’s campaign has denied the candidate has any serious health issues and has responded with questions about the legitimacy of a letter from Trump’s doctor.

In an interview earlier this week, following Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis, Trump said he would soon release “very, very specific” details from a recent physical. There had been speculation that he would do so during his Dr. Oz appearance, but his campaign said otherwise on Wednesday.

“I think that the campaign itself has been extremely clear that Donald Trump will release his records this week from a physical he took on Friday,” Trump spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on CNN on Wednesday, according to Politico. “We’re in the middle of the week. It’s certainly not over and he still plans to do that.”

Clinton’s campaign also said this week that she would release additional information about her health.
