Is it possible to deport someone with no passport and identification ? (self.legaladvice)

im planning go to iceland from norway and destroy all my identification in air. then claim asylum in the terminal. is there a chance they can refuse and deport me with no papers and proof whatsoever of who i am ?

This is a pretty horrible idea.

You don't claim asylum by standing up and shouting "I CLAIM ASYLUM!" The country has to willingly offer it to you.

Yeah, it's entirely possible for them to refuse. They're going to want to know who you are and why you want asylum. If you're a fugitive for certain crimes, for example, they may not be willing to grant you asylum as you may not be worth their risking of their relationship with whatever country you're fleeing from.

Yes, they will refuse you entry. And you'll basically be trapped in the airport like Tom Hanks in Terminal. Because you can't get entry to your own country without proof of ID, but can't go into a new one without it either.

They don't need proof to deny you entry, you need proof to be allowed entry.

If you use your documents to get on an airplane they may have it saved and know where you came from. I would recommend going through the established system for seeking asylum.

If you want to see what "modern peaceful countries" do to people claiming to be "refugees" who have destroyed all their paperwork, see all the tent cities and slums in Calais.

Best case scenario is by pursuing this plan you will be stuck in an unemployable limbo in the airport, unable to leave or be admitted. Worst case you are accused of immigration fraud and banned from entry into the country. The world doesn't give you shit because you feel you are entitled to it.
