Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to be out for ten days after aggravating his thigh injury during Saturday’s defeat by Manchester City at Old Trafford.

Mkhitaryan, the Manchester United midfielder, suffered the initial problem, to his left thigh, during the international break. The 27-year-old, who signed for £26.3 million in July, was injured in a tackle by Marek Suchy during Armenia’s 3-0 defeat by the Czech Republic on August 31.
