Meeting with the bailiff
Hi everyone,
As planned, the meeting with the bailiff (Mr. Bordet) took place yesterday in IOL's offices, next to Liège.
We showed everything we could to him, from prototypes to plans, and of course the list of questions you asked a few weeks ago.
First, he told us he could only answer to the questions he could see clear evidences in front of him. So you won't receive all the answers you wanted, because, for example, even if we've showed detailed scientific plans of something, he couldn't consider that as an evidence. (i.e: the viewable angles of the screens).
Here are some more pictures where you can see we've put everything in front of him.
(This the hub we're going to use!)
Everything went well, and Mr. Bordet told us he could give us (and you!) a detailed report next week probably. We'll post it here as soon as we get it!
Another question that we often read here is about WHEN will we receive the last prototype and make you a video. Charlee, Laurent & Thomas have to schedule a meeting with everybody at IOL and Taipro in the next 10 days and there they'll be able to give more infos about THE video.
Have a nice week-end everyone!

Hi Erick,
I'm waiting for the report to post you a new update. We also would like to post you a video of the new prototype soon. Don't worry, good news are coming!

As we have soared past a year since you have been funded...and rapidly approach a year from when the initial product should have been delivered... I have to ask again. What is the status of delivery, are we on track? It has been two+ weeks since the last update. Any info?

@KimCovil: Part of the idea of "hiring" a bailiff to answer your questions comes from the fact that a lot of backers don't believe the answers we personally give to them. That was the reason we didn't answer to all the questions by ourselves.
But I think you have a great idea here, and I'll try to complete the report of M. Bordet with answers coming from us!

I think you should provide answers to all the questions yourselves, flag those that have been independently verified by Mr Bordet, and find a way to provide his report separately.
Some of the questions I have asked (like which DisplayLink chipset is going to be used) are the same questions I have been asking since late last year and you have yet to provide an answer to. For you to now to say we still won't be getting answers to all our questions because Mr Bordet can't tell us just makes me even more concerned that there are no answers to these questions.
We are now over halfway through August, the final prototype which you told us was meant to be delivered at the beginning of August has still not appeared. You are yet to *schedule* a meeting within the next 10 days about the prototype. There shouldn't be any of the questions we asked which don't have answers at this stage but your responses don't make me comfortable about a November delivery.

To all:
We'll find a way to prove you the report isn't altered in any way. I'll see what I can deal with Mr.Bordet to satisfy you :)

Sadly, this extended pantomime leaves me fundamentally unconvinced and deeply suspicious.
Just get on with it before what was initially a tantalising concept grows so out of date it's not worth waiting for.

Thanks for the update, glad that we finally have Mr. Bordet to look over the Slidenjoy. I agree with James, could be more "legit" or "official" to have the report posted elsewhere than you on KS. The document should be certified by Mr. Bordet and not altered in any way.

Will there be a way to obtain the information in the report from a source other than you? I would think that a report provided by you may not satisfy those that do not trust you in the first place.
