And here's an email from Human Revolution that's a transcript of the opening cutscene - Illuminati meeting. us.dc.01776 is probably Stanton Dowd, I'm not sure. But what's important - Chikane has been contacted by the Illuminati.

I remember one cutscene when he said something like The Task Force is your family. And you have to trust your family. And after the GARM, when Jensen said that it was suspicious that they knew they were coming, Chikane got defensive. (I can't find the cutscenes on yt to rewatch it, so I may be misremembering.)

I tried to hack chikanes computer over 3 playthroughs but it always locked up and failed me even if I hacked it properly. Never trusted him or the psychiatrist with her lv5 hack computer.

The first time I read his emails I was surprised that they were so boring, because his computer was so well hidden. I kept coming back to his place from time to time to see if there's anything new, but there wasn't. Now it all makes sense though.

Oh I got plenty - what I meant is it would bug out. The hacking game would either stop letting me select new nodes causing me to fail it and then after it would remove and lock my HUD until I used the computer again, or I would succeed it and it would say 'lockdown' and it would remove my HUD.

This shit happened to me. The only kinda-successful workaround I had for it was using only mouse to initiate and complete the hack (so no fortify spamming if a trace starts running, sadly).

Thankfully it started happening on the last mission, I'd go insane if it happened at your point of the game...

If you ignore him for the start of the game he'll eventually try to start his quest by waiting for you at the door as you leave from meeting Miller or something, I think that would be a time where you can hack his computer.

Oldly enough later in the game, even though Chang is standing infront of his computer, you were able to access it. At least, I was.

There was one time I saw a prompt for Changs pop up, as I walked up and he turned to greet me for a second. So I think the key is to grab it right then, because if you talk to him he's buried in the keyboard again when you finish.

Now I'm looking at how long would it take to fly a helicopter from Prague to Swiss Alps and does it fit that "ETA 4 hours", but I know nothing about helicopters so eh. It does seem to fit though.

We have indications though that Miller was just an agent following his chain of command (which in this instance wasnt done, he simply keeps the recon idea hush hush from anyone else without us thinking he is lying) and is not actively aware of any Illuminati conspiracy to support. He is a TF29 man through and through.

Nah, it totally adds up. See, the VTOL, unlike traditional helicopters, comes equipped with a device known as a convenience regulator, which controls its cruise speed according to the needs of the plot.

Nice connections in the OP. I found Elias' emails suggesting he needed money and the very suspect one saying they could make 'his load lighter' but didn't think to look into the name us.dc.01776. Not sure if I missed the one about ETA 4 hours but makes sense too. Some very nice hints here.

Also, speaking of the email regarding payments to the assisted living facility in Johannesburg, there's an email (or pocket secretary, can't remember) in the Picus vault in Palisade Bank that mentions Stanton Dowd has investments in South Africa. Connecting the dots, it was probably Dowd that contacted Chikane.

    One of my biggest concerns lie with how much of a potential sleeper agent Adam is, what with all that time he spent under 'recovering' after his Panchaea rescue and Sarifs comment about not trusting communicating over his infolink. I'm also wondering how this combines into the powerplay going on with the council (and who might have control of Adam), especially when Everett takes over from DuBeers.

    Well, in the very first Illuminati cut scene after dubai DeBeers says to Bob Page "activate the sleeper". I'm assuming this means Jensen.

    I also think Koller is part of it as well given he would notice before that Jensens "Sarif" Aug's have been replaced and he knows Sarifs work (as he says).

    Something to note about Delara with the friends in common bit. Delara isn't an American. In a conversation with Jensen, she says "you Americans", you can then follow up asking her where she's from. Thing is, if she was like from Canada, or another nationality born in America, I don't think she'd get as defensive/evasive as she does when she blows off the question.

    Something tells me she's pulling a Quinn and possibly using an Aug to change her accent. If this is the case, the "we might have some friends in common" could also imply she might even secretly be South African herself. A bit more of a stretch on that part, but knowing she isn't an American, and that she's hiding where she is really from is an interesting note.

    I'm not sure. The game has never really factored the emails you discover as vital except when related to a quest. You should know for instance more names than Page and Manderley right now. But you can't show that.

    One thing I just thought... When you first speak to him and ask about his experience he says 10 years SAAF and 5 years private ops. Maybe he was the "Eli" that was replaced by Janus 5 years ago?

    Edit: the pocket diary from US.DC saying "we know who you are" might be referencing that? Or if it's not from the Illuminati maybe he's now a triple agent?!

    What I noticed is that when you get to GARM facility and you choose to contact Miller instead of VEGA after Chikane conversation an alarm triggers which means he notifies everyone that Jensen survives.
