I can't answer for sure but, if you can get to Paris with your passport, you can join the French Foreign Legoin. What I am not sure about is if they will protect you from family court. Traditionally, they would take in recruits escaping misdemeanors but not felonies. I have heard of family courts inventing felonies to extradite. While I am sure you will dismiss this, it has worked for others who want to start over fresh.
