I brought this up in a /r/uncensorednews thread about Hillary and someone was very adamant that /r/news doesn't allow politics. I asked them if an article about Trump's death would be considered non-political news. They refused to answer the question.

I asked the /r/news moderators why stories about Kaepernick's protests were allowed, since that story was primarily political. I was called a Nazi. 😕

In all fairness, the Kaepernick situation isn't explicitly about the political process. I don't know, it's all a big gray area that gives the moderators the ability to control speech, like the Canadian government determining that being critical of transgenderism is "hate speech".

Also, I love when people call me a Nazi. Do these people have any idea that Hitler was a National Socialist. That's left, not right. I'm not the fascist one, they're the ones that want to control speech and halt discussion because it's "offensive".

That's because /r/news is either run by mods paid by the admins to remove posts on certain topics, or run by mods with very weird and private standards on what does and does not get removed.

There are much better news sources on Reddit, such as /r/worldnews.
