Enh. Her fierceness drops significantly for me considering her attitude in S2 and how she failed to truly take advantage of her position, her prizes (e.g. 1 year of PR), got thrown in jail, and didn't even deliver on her kickstarter promises to her backers.

Tyra definitely didnt do things perfectly but she really got a raw deal. She was the first contestant to really get his hard by online/ social media negativity in a time where all that stuff was still new and people didnt know how to handle it. Plus at that time, the biggest success u could really get from the show was a national tour through clubs. Not like the international mega success u can get today. Raven was no angel on her season either but we've all moved on past that and keep kicking Tyra down. I kinda feel like she needs a second chance.

Tyra didnt really get any advantages because shes always considered the most hated winner because so many people think Raven should have won instead. Those 3 queens are beloved so of course they've sustained until now. When Tyra's advantages as a winner were supposed to kick in, she got publicly shat on so she didnt flourish as she could have at the time. Instead of growing, she retreated.

She had a PR contract, money, title, and tour. That should have helped with the image problems and getting out there to disprove what people think of you if she'd really taken advantage of it. Plus, her choices to commit crimes and then building up a Kickstarter for a documentary and never even coming through just show even more how she's not all that.

20,000 isn't that much (cc: taxes). title, PR, and tour mean nothing if no one likes you. lots of pretty pictures and you performing aren't going to save the fact that much of what people know about you is that: 1) Raven should've won (popular opinion) and 2) you were a bitch your season. and the cherry on top, of course, is that the show hadn't even really taken off so there's a good sense of "Tyra Sanchez WHO?"

Tyra is slowly coming back. and as i already said, they're really not all that advantageous if people don't like you (cue Ru's "you have to get people to like you" @ Magenta Cranberry). if people don't like you, it doesn't matter how talented you are, you will struggle in the drag world.

i don't think people outside of reddit care for Phi Phi all that much. she was dwarfed by Willam in the Buzzfeed poll and her prominence in the poll can also be easily attributed to a case of "who the fuck else do you bring back from that season anyways." it should also be noted that Phi Phi reinvented her drag to a style that isn't really done (cosplay). that alone gets her a little more attention than Tyra who is a bit more conventional (though definitely fierce and talented).

i can't address the other points because i don't know much about them. but i mean....PhiPhi (and Latrice, and i think probably more) was arrested too so i don't think people really care about queens' criminal records

Phi Phi was on the show at a much different time than Tyra so even though PhiPhi screwed up, she still has WAY more opportunities. Also, people actually forgive Phi Phi and have moved on. Anytime anyone talks about Tyra, theres always 2 ideas: 1) shes a bitch 2) Raven should have one. Noone will move on from that.

I like her a lot more now cause we actually see her but I rewatched a couple episodes from season 2 and she was soooo grating. She always thought people were copying her and "testing her" (how high horsey can you get xD haha). But I want a come back, we all like a comeback or redemption :)

IIRC when they were referencing how annoying it was in confessionals, Tyra was singing a Beyonce song which they couldn't air. But, I have no source to back me up. It's just in my memory.

I believe that I read that as well. And if that's the case, production needed to "reshoot" her singing so that the confessionals of the other girls had context. They could have left it out completely, but then the other queens bring it up on the main stage. So it was necessary to have a shot of Tyra singing in the work room, they couldn't use her singing Beyonce, so they refilmed her just singing later.
