it might be true that muslims tend to commit more crimes in western europe than people of other religions but thats not because of their religion but because many of them live in the lower classes. quite similiar to the black people in the usa. statistically they tend to commit more crimes but thats not because of the color of their skin.

Pretty sure it also has something to do with their homeland's culture making it okay to....stone people to death, rape women, beat women, and generally abuse women due to their status as second-class humans in countries that are primarily Muslim and have Muslim-influenced (or outright Muslim-dictated) legislation.

Think of it this way: if a child grows up in a home where dinner is eaten with hands rather than utensils, that child will assume that it is always appropriate to eat dinner with their hands. The concept of using silverware will be completely foreign to them.

In these countries, the assault, abuse, and exploitation of women is considered culturally and religiously acceptable. So when young, single men who are raised in a culture where women deserve to be raped simply for walking in public in Western clothing and without being escorted by a male relative move to a Western country, they rape and assault, because it's simply what they have been taught is right.

It's not because they're poor. It's because their entire lives, they've been taught that women have it coming.

i was refering to european muslim of course just like the guy i responded to. alot of them live here in berlin since we imported guest workers from turkey after ww2. i grew up with them and noone i met is disrespecting woma, and everyone is condemning the terrible crimes happening in muslim countries. islam can coexist with western culture just like christianity can if done right.

yes, there are many terrible crimes happening in muslim countries in the name of islam but you need to consider the situation some of these regions are in and have been in in the past. wars have been fought there for decades. in afghanistan you can still see the old soviet tanks on the side of the road because the region never really recovered from the past war before the next started. there was no time for real education or the establishment of good governance especially because of all the oil pressure and cold war tensions. and of course, since there was no secularity yet, the leaders abuse the religion to claim their reign.

what we need in the middle east is not to fight the islam and harden the fronts between our cultures to create even more extremism. it is education and social stability. the kids need books not guns. we need to get rid of isis and assad. over the years the education, the internet will kick in and the society will enlighten and thus also the culture and religion will modernize.

over 50 years ago gay people were sent to prison here in germany and womans could not vote or have the same right in worklife etc. we still managed to overcome that with proper education etc. even though the bible condemned homosexualism.

the same process the muslim countries have to go through in order to overcome the terrible crimes they commit. islamophobia is just the easy way and will help noone.

I'm not completely sure about that. Some huge ancient empires functioned very similarly without having a strong monotheistic religion as their driving force.
