Formation(Shape) change going forward (self.reddevils)

I don't know if this has been talked about already but I want to see some changes in our next game. Bring in Schneiderlin and Herrera and switch to a midfield 3. Fellaini has done well but yesterday's game showed us some of his limitations, a player like Schneiderlin along with Herrera would have neutralized De Bruyne after he started so brightly.

Also Rashford needs to be starting and Mkhitaryan. He wasn't fit as he was injured in midweek so it was a surprise to see him included in the team. This however means Rooney being dropped, but so be it.

I also think it's time for Smalling to come in, not for Bailly, but for Blind. As good as he is, Blind just can't deal with the quickness of some players and this team could use a change in shape.

What are your thoughts?

Yea I agree. He should have an actual defensive midfielder behind him(Schneiderlin) to free him from all the defensive responsibilities with a midfield 2. We saw in the Euros how this formation can hinder his contribution. Not making an excuse just stating the obvious.

Still think he played better 2nd half, was just tired.
