I know what you mean mate. there is certain things we understand that others wont. i.e. the weather. To an outsider, they'd think it is shit all the time but over the past few weeks over here it has been decent. Stuff like that makes it feel close. Check out /r/Manchester where you're guaranteed to come across people from our area.
