Wikileaks Forum was the official discussion area for Wikileaks and was announced, grandly, by @Wikileaks in 2011.

So what changed, that they now regularly say things like this?

Reminder: "WikiLeaks Forum" is part of a group of fake anti-WikiLeaks propaganda sites that feed data to the FBI.

and this:

The "WikiLeaks forum" has nothing to do with WikiLeaks; it is an anti-WikiLeaks email harvester, now fooling a new group.

And why do the Forum themselves claim that actually, the fallout was because they wouldn't harvest emails? With chat-logs?

Here is the edited Chat log between the WikiLeaks Forum and WikiLeaks when we are asked to provide them with the email addresses of ALL 15.000 Forum members Needless to say, we refused.

The Wikileaks forum is now a place for people who passionately promote freedom of information - but who do not look favourably on Assange or Wikileaks.

It's not just the forum, though. "Friends Of Wikileaks" (FOWL) groups exist all over the world, and were there to help out and to foster discussion. They were also officially announced by @Wikileaks.

But now? Again, Wikileaks themsevles are not too sure:

There is no 'FoWL USA'; it is a fraud on the public, as is @wikileaks_forum

The infection appears to spread, too:

@wikileaks_forum is a fraud. It, "http://support-julian-assange.com ", the FoWL/WL Germany Facebook groups are fronts for the same anti-WikiLeaks group.

Still, if you get mad, just dox your own former volunteers. Right? That'll increase your credibility. I'm not going to quote that tweet, because it Doxes the guy both visually and by using his real name.

Then, of course, the shit really hit the fan and the core Wikileaks fanatics started to harass the Forum volunteers in multiple ways, and this culminated in the South African WL mirror being taken down by a former passionate supporter:

I woke up this morning and could not believe what I was reading over my morning cup of tea. Firstly was the news that the Wikileaks-Forum was closing down and secondly was at how unhinged Julian Assange's mother (Christine Assange) behaved...

It turns out there was a massive Internet fight between Wikileaks supporters (Mostly spear headed by the owner of the website Cabledrum.net). To give you an idea of how this chap behaved, he basically stalked all the moderators and admins of Wikileaks-Forum because they would not do things his way.

For those of you who supported Wikileaks passionately, and saw them as fighting for freedom and democracy - don't feel badly. I used to, as well but I was following Wikileaks on twitter when they posted this tweet, linking to an article which talks about the two women in Sweden. It names tham, shames them, and outright bullies them. It claims that Swedish feminism wants all women to be lesbians, and that Joeseph Goebals could learn a lesson in fascism and propoganda from Sweden.

Search the article they tweeted for the words "rape the shit out of them" for the most juicy parts, but the rest of the article is also an utter train wreck. Make sure to read the part at the end where the author attacks "Anal Taylor" (instead of Alan Taylor) and tries to justify the use of the phrase "rape the sahit out of them" in an article which was written to shame and blame two alleged victims of rape and sexual assault.
