            The tactics weren't wrong, Mkhi and Lingard were supposed to track back, theyre much better than Mata or Martial at that, and play on the counter with their pace, Mou didnt know they would lose every ball and get beaten in every 50/50, they were utter shit.

            I think a big problem was 4-5 players pressing when the ball went back to the defense and keeper. Left us very vulnerable in the midfield and defense. We stopped doing that in the second half, along with the substitutions it helped, I think.

            Its the whole point of possession based football, to stretch teams. No one in the Prem did it against LVG, which is why our possession football the last few years didn't work. They just sat back and let us pass the ball around between defenders. We played right into Pep's hands in the first half.

                    City played us off the park in the first half and we were lucky to keep it so close for so long. Much better second half but we just weren't quite good enough, and City deserved to win.

                            They deserved that one. Kevin de Bruyne was immense, Iheanacho filled in more than capably for Aguero.

                            For us, we can take encouragement from our second half performance. Defence picked up a bit, but worrying is Mkhi's performance. That first goal could've been prevented by 3 people: Mkhi, Bailly, and Blind. Well, that's the game I guess.

                            Okay, we lost. We had a very bad first half. But I have to say that the rush I felt during that second half is one that I hadn't felt in a long time, and the players played their fucking heart out, they really did. Fellaini was astounding, Rooney gave everything, Herrera too.

                            I'm so glad to say that we lost because it was City and they have a great team, instead of having to admit that we're basically shit and have no clue like it was often the case in these last 3 years. Players were shaken at first but gave everything and that's what I love to see. They're all going back to the dressing room having lost and I love every last one of them.

                            We lost the match purely on that first half. Why we started with two midfielders against their five I'll never know. We got a lucky goal back, but that second half was ours. I wantes Rooney off after that first half, but boy does he love showing me wrong. The fire in that man to win is something else.
                            Lingard was deservedly subbed off, he didn't have any kind of impact on the game. Mkhi lost the ball what, 10 times in that first half? He wasn't as ready as we thought he was.
                            Rashford and Herrera changed the dynamic completely, they both worked tirelessly to put pressure on the City defenders and midfield. I think Herrera might get more gametime in the coming weeks purely from his work ethic this second half.
                            All in all, not the worst defeat we could suffer. It's just the 4th match of the season, we showed some fighting spirit, and and we're still working on our squad.
                            MOTM for me is KDB, that boy ran his ass off for the whole 88 minutes he played. What a player he is!

                              Only 4th game of the season, we'll push on. Really not impressed by City players flopping around after every little bit of contact. Bravo's tackle on Rooney was dangerous IMO, leaps, almost two footed and studs up. Clattenburg let City off the hook for numerous obvious fouls I thought.

                              Great game regardless of the result. The Lingard experiment did not work, hopefully Memphis gets a start in the next game given Martial's poor form. Rooney had some great moments, but I think its time to start somebody else at #10, maybe Mkhi while Rashford starts on the right. Same goes for Fellaini, as I would really like to see how Schneiderlin teams up with Pogba

                              Incredible game, really showed the caliber of the two managers at the helm of the Manchester Derby.

                              Our set-up in the first half wasn't right, but fair play to City, they played incredibly well. Their best performance of the season.

                              We were a bit unlucky with the goals, Blind getting caught out by a quick touch by De Bruyne and iheanacho scoring from a rebound off the post.

                              Second half we were much better, faster tempo, more control and the natural drive that a Manchester United team should have. We did end up getting a bit tired and not having a midfield dropping back but yeah.

                              Great game, disappointed with the result, happy with the performance!

                              Despite the loss, I think we played really well second half and we were unlucky not to equalise. My standouts were Fellaini, Rooney, Hererra and Bailly (again). The worst players were probably our other signings, Mkhitariyan was awful but to be fair he is still injured and im sure he will improve when hes fit, zlatan was so frustrating today and pogba looked like a nothing player today, taken down too easily at times (do you think we should play him higher?)

                              Ok we lost, but what a great game. First half we were so passive, then Mou makes the changes and we take control. One of the best halves I've seen from us in a while, even though we lost, I can't remember when I saw every player fight for every ball like that. Bailly is superhuman, Zlatan's goal streak continues, Rashford played great. Only negative (besides the first half) was Martial disappearing, but Pep put 5 at the back and played long balls.

                              Pogba was largely uninfluential today. Played well, just couldn't affect the game too much sadly. Lingard was absolute shite and Mkhi was slightly better but only just. We could have taken the game with a better starting 11, but I'm happy about the fightback and the desire - it's just one match and we can will definitely be up there.

                              Pogba was, at best, 4/10 today. Abysmal performance and was found out tactically.

                              Ibra scored a brilliant goal, but wasted at least 5 others. Was also really poor in the middle of the field. 6/10.

                              Fellaini was also pretty poor at times. Would like to see Schneiderlin get a look in, as he plays with more mobility and pace.

                                We fought all the way, the manager tried to shake things up to get a result, the fans pushed the players in the last few minutes, we got 5 minutes of injury time and I think there wasn't a person that thought we couldn't score.
