0' KICK OFF

0' City get us underway! They're attacking the Stretford End for the first half. United in red, City in blue.

5' Both teams are pressing high whenever the other team has the ball. City with more possession in the opening minutes though and have been putting some dangerous balls into the box.

7' Pogba with the first strike of the game. Rooney with a cross-field ball to Mkhitaryan who then lays it off to Pogba but his shot from around 30 yards out goes about a foot over the bar.

9' Bailly gives away a free kick in a dangerous position after clattering into De Bruyne. Kolarov and KdB to take...

9' Kolarov hits it but it's yards over the bar.

13' Our passing and control hasn't been up to par so far in the game. Mkhitaryan, Rooney, and Lingard are all looking sloppy on the ball.

14' MANCHESTER CITY GOAL De Bruyne scores and it's way too easy. Kolarov hits the ball long and Iheanacho wins the header in front of Bailly, and KdB darts in ahead of a napping Blind and slots it past De Gea one-on-one. No chance.

18' United have their first corner of the game. Rooney swings it in high and City get their head to it.

21' City are dictating the tempo and attacking flow of the game and United can't really get the ball clear.

25' United counter quickly with Rooney spreading the ball wide to Mkhitaryan on the wing but his whipped cross hits the first man and is out for a throw.

25' Rooney is getting a warning from Clattenburg for diving into challenges and is just being told to calm down a bit. Rooney also got into a bit of a tiff with Guardiola who was keeping the ball away from him at a throw-in.

27' Mkhitaryan is played through from the back by Blind but is whistled for offside so his penalty appeal against Bravo won't come to anything.

35' MANCHESTER CITY GOAL De Bruyne drops both Blind and Lingard in the box and his left footed shot rolls past De Gea and is off the post but it falls back to Iheanacho who slots home.

40' United can't get anything going right now.

40' MANCHESTER CITY YELLOW CARD Silva dives in and gets a yellow for taking Valencia down. Otamendi also dove in but the foul was already given by then.

41' MANCHESTER UNITED GOAL IBRAHIMOVIC! ROONEY SWINGS THE FREE KICK IN FROM VERY DEEP AND BRAVO DROPS THE BALL SO IT DROPS TO ZLATAN WHO VOLLEYS HOME. UNITED BACK IN IT SOMEHOW!

45' TWO MINUTES ADDED

45+1' Rooney capitalises on a defensive mistake and swings a ball to the far post for Ibrahimovic but he can't get the power behind the header and Bravo catches easily.

45+2' Ibrahimovic should've scored! Lingard does well to tee off Ibrahimovic and there's no-one in goal but Stones on the line and Ibra can only muster a left-footed dribbler that is easily cleared!
