Of course you can speak to a mentally ill person with multiple personality disorder and magically talk them out of their mental illness. That's totally not downright offensive to downright offensive to the people with that disorder and others who know them!

All they need to do is go into the magic that's in the center of the world and talk to different of their mind and see memories and then their mental illness cause by guilt of their own failures and torturous experiments by a mad scientist are gone!
