Blind and Pogba midfield partnership tomorrow? (self.reddevils)

It just struck me that Jose generally decides to play defensive in big games, so do you guys think it's likely that we have a defensive partnership of Bailly and Smalling with Blind and Pogba in the midfield?

Or do you think that Felé and Pogba will play as usual? I think city will try to draw fouls from Fellaini as he is not fast enough to deal with their pace.

Blind hasnt played there in a long time. Huge risk to take in such an important game. Best thing to do is stick with what has worked for us this far.

Pepe and Zouma would played at DM for him in big games. Neither had THAT much experience in the role too.

Both of them seem like tanks and destroyer type midfielders(which blind is not)...if Mou wants a smart playmaking DM he will go to Carrick before Blind.

that's true. But you see Wayne's assist for Rashford come from left wing, and his assist for Zlatan come from right wing. Maybe he'll take one of the wing positions just for this one game. Hmmm....

On the other hand you can argue that they will have very little aerial threat in the middle to get loose balls... and with Felliani that will give us lots of possession.

Regardless of that I don't think anything will change(unless injuries) since we have won all games with this lineup so why not keep it going. Something something dont fix what is broken or w.e that quote is.

EDIT: Also think Carrick is ahead of Blind in the DM position.

No way. I think it should even be Morgan and Pogba tomorrow. Both mobile, Morgan will purely focus on the defensive side allowing pogba to make his runs. But fellaini will probably play because of his height and aerial threat.
