banned from ESL (elderscrolls legends) subreddit for calling out hatespeech (self.subredditcancer)

elderscrolls legends is a game that competes with hearthstone. i've been playing and following the subreddit since open beta release.

ever since, i have noticed daily shitting on hs there. examples from yesterday and today:

"The demographic of this game is more intellectual than Hearthstone, purely because one is more random chaos with cute graphics and Legends is set in more of a serious multiverse." and "Look I know Hearthstone has its issues like many other game and I'm the first one the criticize it. I'm definitly not a blizzard fanboy and I honnestly think that most of their work suck nowadays. I thought about playing HS again and it just feels bad so I probably won't anyways."

there are worse. pointing this out gets you downvoted fast and hard...that sucks. but what takes the cake is that i just got permanently banned from esl reddit.

not only is that censorship. it's censorship supporting hatespeech.

The two quotes you posted don't sound like hatespeech they sound like subjective opinions on a game that they don't care for. I do think it's silly that you got banned for, I guess, disagreeing with those type of sentiments.

yea it's not a huge thing but a first for me. there is of course much worse in the comments. also on discord. it's like there is a war now between ccgs (computer card games).
