Since Bugthesda said Nuka World would be the last DLC for now, and I'd like to talk about the DLCs with this lovely subreddit!
First, Automatron was met with a nice 75% positive review status. I personally enjoyed the short but sweet DLC, as I now can make ROBOTS do my farming and sell me stuff, instead of people..who need to eat and other meaningless tasks! The new weapons (like 2?) were okay, and the new armours were pretty solid. I personally love putting Atom Cat's paint on the new T60 parts.
Secondly, Wasteland Workshop and HO BOY people DID NOT like this one. Boasting a disgusting 34% positive review status, people mainly said this DLC was "robbery of modders" which...is sort of true as mods like Homemaker Expanded and other Settlement mods added this shit first, without a 7$ price tag. (Mind, I'm Canadian so I shall be using the CAN prices <3)
Third, Far Harbor for 35$ Canadian, it boasts a nice 86% Positive review rate, the biggest of ALL the DLCs. This DLC was what legit everyone wanted from Bugthesda, a STORY driven DLC with some sick ass side missions (I love the Murder Mystery the most). It added some new clothing / armour, which looks nice. I like the Fisherman's Brown Overalls honestly.
Fourth and Fifth, we got We're Lazy 1 and 2 inwhich are just...more workshop DLCs. (I don't own either because I'm poor and they're just shitty <3)
Last DLC Nuka World Which is apprently meh, as you HAVE to be bad to really do anything in it, and the BEST ending is to get up until the near end, then access the Open Season quest, to slay every Raider. The weapons look pretty nice, the paint jobs for Power Armour and the new AK rifle look pretty nice...as I always wanted a sleek Nuka Red paint for my armour.
What did you think of the DLCs? Do they live up the the hype? How would you fix / rework the DLCs, so they'd be more well recieved? The trackrecord is pretty shit imo
