Warning: I am going to ramble a bit because I have trouble organizing my thoughts to make a truly coherent statement, but I need to get this off my chest.
TLDR: people with bullshit jobs are a drain on the rest of us and don't have the decency to realize this.
Long version:
Today at work (I work in x-ray in a hospital) our department was required to attend an HR seminar on "conflict resolution" for 3 hours (we attended in shifts because the hospital would shut down if all of us were out).
This was an entertaining break from work but from a productivity standpoint it was really a drain since the rest of the hospital kept running and our work just got a 3 hour back-log.
Additionally during this seminar we were presented with a HYPOTHETICAL scenario in which 2 workers had a conflict. One worker required silence to perform his detail-intensive tasks. The other worker liked to play his music in the office, had a high social standing in the company, and none of the other workers minded his music.
I argued that the worker who was more important to the company should be given priority with regards to whether the music could be played or not.
One of the administrators (female) disagreed and argued that every member of the team is crucial and that simply firing a "less crucial" member would cost the organization money due to the process of hiring and training a new worker.
Unfortunately due to time constraints I wasn't able to present my counter argument: certain workers are easier to train than others and certain jobs can be replaced by machines. Therefore certain team members are less replaceable than others.
A glaring example I wanted to point out pertained to a previous hospital I worked at. My previous hospital employed a paper-charting and order system. Basically the doctors would fill out paper forms to order medications/tests/etc for patients. Doctors would also write paper notes detailing the patient's progress and place these in the patient's chart. A secretary, usually female, assigned to that hall of the hospital would then enter those orders into a computer (I wonder why they wouldn't give doctors access to enter their own orders?), transfer the paper copy of those orders into the patient's chart, and keep the patient's records organized. The hospital adopted a computerized system for entering orders and record keeping. The secretaries essentially became obsolete within a few days. Obviously the secretaries were less valuable than the doctors.
What does this have to do with MGTOW? For starter, huge portions of the economy in the Western World are bullshit. Not just many government jobs, but also many private sector administrative jobs. Additionally many private companies with government contracts have plenty of bullshit jobs simply because they are doing bullshit work. These jobs are essentially subsidized by productive members of society.
Any MGTOW who works will inevitably pay taxes to support this bloated monstrosity, which drains the time and money that MGTOW can spend on themselves.
I don't know what the solution is. These bullshit jobs are permeating into every aspect of the economy. The only way around it is to pretend to be part of the system, climb the ranks, and then proceed to fire or lay-off all the non-productive workers. Just wanted to vent.
